Innovative Dairy UHT-Technology from Tuchenhagen
Innovative UHT-Technology from Tuchenhagen Dairy Systems providing new flexibility in heating operations. A core element of the new UHT plant design is the product-to-product indirect heat exchange in special tube bundles.
The following milk processing targets seem to be contradictory: "A high demand on flexibility, product quality, production safety and the efficient use of energy."
Tuchenhagen Dairy Systems, a leading supplier to the dairy, beverage and food industry, has proved that these targets can be achieved at a high level with its new UHT plant design. A core element of the new UHT plant design is the product-to-product indirect heat exchange in special tube bundles. The wide variety of products our customers are capable of producing through the UHT plant proves how flexible it can be.
The new pasteurization approach In indirect UHT-plants a high temperature transfer (approx. 90%) is generally achieved by regenerative heat recovery. Where a heat transfer to the product occurs through a water circuit between the product to be heated and the product to be cooled. In contrast to this concept the new indirect UHT plant provides the product-to-product heat exchange and replaces the water circuit with the heat directly from the heated product. Therefore a higher temperature difference is possible, which in turn increases the regenerative heat recovery without impairing the product quality.
